Sadhguru in Mount Kailash…

I was very excited to hear about Sadhguru’s annual trip to Mount Kailash! For those of you who are not familiar with Kailash, here’s a brief overview. Mount Kailash is a peak in the Gangdise Mountains which are part of the Himalayas in Tibet, China. It is considered to be a sacred place in four religions: Bon, Buddhism, Hinduism, & Jainism. In Hinduism, it is considered to be the abode of Lord Shiva and a place of eternal bliss. Here’s a few images of his stop in Kathmandu, Nepal. The city’s rich history is nearly 2000 years old, as inferred from an inscription in the valley. Its religious affiliations are dominantly Hindu followed by Buddhism. People of other religious beliefs also live in Kathmandu giving it a cosmopolitan culture! Nepal is definitely a destination for individuals seeking spiritual awakening!
